Couples Therapy Intensives · Online across Ontario

What if you had more than 50 minutes to really hear each other?

Some conversations can’t be squeezed into a weekly hour. An intensive gives you and your partner focused, uninterrupted time to understand the patterns that keep pulling you apart, and to practise finding your way back to each other.

A family sharing a warm moment outdoors

Sound familiar?

It starts with the dishes and somehow ends with everything we’ve ever been upset about.

We’re great at running the house together. We’ve just stopped feeling like a couple.

One of us wants to talk it out. The other needs space. We both end up feeling alone.

By the time we find a babysitter and a free evening, we’re too tired to talk.

We finally started therapy, and every session ends right when it gets real.

Something broke our trust. We both want to repair it, and we don’t know where to start.

If you saw yourselves here, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Weekly therapy works for many couples. Sometimes you need more room.

In weekly sessions, time goes to catching up on the week, settling back in, and closing up before the hour ends. An intensive removes that stop-and-start rhythm, so you can stay with what matters.

Room to finish the conversation

Stay with a hard topic until you reach a natural pause, not until the clock runs out.

Beneath the argument

Look at the pattern behind the fight, not just this week’s version of it.

Built for busy lives

One or two planned days instead of months of juggling calendars.

Leave with a plan

Shared insights, practical tools, and clear next steps to keep going at home.

Couples often choose an intensive when…

You keep having the same fight and want to understand why.

Schedules, shift work, or kids make weekly sessions hard to keep.

You’re heading into a big change: a wedding, a new baby, a move, empty nest, or retirement.

You’re already in couples therapy and want a focused boost.

You’re both committed to rebuilding after a breach of trust.

You simply want dedicated time to invest in your relationship.

Bringing it together

Schedules are flexible and set at booking.

An honest note before you book

Not recommended if: there is an ongoing affair; one partner is unsure about staying; there is current violence, threats, or fear for safety; or extended time together isn’t possible without conflict escalating.

Not sure? Book a free consult. If you are not safe, contact the Assaulted Women’s Helpline at 1-866-863-0511, or call 911.
